AAAAAAA!!!

Saturday night the girls and I went to our favorite night club to get our groove thing on. We do this about every two weeks or so, or whenever the mood hits us. I think that I have very unique dance moves that several people wish they had. I mean why else would they be staring at me? Well, the night was coming to an end when a gentleman came over and started dancing with me. He wasn't on top of me, or even picking me up so I welcomed him. In fact, it was quite fun. That's when the girls started cracking up and let me know that he has the same dance moves as me....we were made for each other! Then he spoke. He asked me what my name was and I had to ask him 3 times to repeat the question. It wasn't because I couldn't hear him over the loud music, but because I couldn't understand what he was saying. My perfect match couldn't speak English!! Only me I say, only me. Then I got thinking about it, would it really matter if we couldn't speak the same language? We could communicate through dance!!!

Will it ever end?

My original idea for this blog was to have fun, happy stories, but today I just had to get this off my chest.

Okay, today is November 21st and we already have more snow than one town needs. I can't drive because the roads are dangerous, it's going to take me twice as long to get home, and I got a cold that won't go away!! I have come to the conclusion that Ohio weather SUCKS!! They keep telling us to "go green" because of global worming, well where is it? Nothing is melting here!! I say bring it on, then maybe we wouldn't have so much snow. It's sad when you get excited because it is going to be in the 40's. Some people say "Oh you have to have snow on Christmas," yeah the picture is nice, but the reality not so much. This time every year I complain about how I hate the weather and I am moving someplace worm. Where you ask? I don't care, just as long as snow doesn't show up.

Thanks Sandra

At 5ft even I have come to terms with the fact that I will forever be short, and I am okay with that. In fact, short jokes don't even bother me because they funny and true. I got a text from my best friend telling me about her snickers bar epiphany. She said "Jen I figured it out, you are not short you are FUN SIZE!" That's right people I am no longer short I am FUN SIZE. So next time you bite into a bite size treat just think of me.

Frustrated, but loving the music!!

This blog is posted in frustration!! My plan was to blog about the CMA's last night, but because Blog Spot wanted to change things up I ended up having to recreate a new blog. So hopefully this one will stick. On to the blog...

Last night Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood hosted the CMA's. I was super excited because as everyone knows I am a huge Brad Paisley fan. Well it opened up with Brad Paisley and Keith Urban singing their new song "Start a Band". Now that was an awesome performance!! Two of the current best guitar players ever playing together, it was a great start to the show. Now I talked to a fellow employee this morning and he disagrees with me, and said that it was a horrible show. He said people are complaining about the sound. All I can say is, I was watching the same awards show and heard everything just fine.

Brad Paisley won both Video of the year and Male Artist of the year. His acceptance speech for the Male Artist of the year was so cute! He ran off the stage, kissed his wife (thinking of me of course), then kissed her pregnant belly, it was a tear jerk er. The only thing that disappointed me was that Kenny Chesney won Entertainer of the Year AGAIN!! He doesn't need another, it's someone else's time. I'm not saying it had to be Brad Paisley, even though he was nominated and deserved it more, just anyone but Chesney. Maybe they will listen to me next year. All in all I think it was a good show and hopefully I will have an opportunity to watch Brad Paisley for 3 hours strait next year.
